Hi, I'm Sarah! Let me take you on a whirlwind journey from the USA to the enchanting land of Italy that I now call home. Picture this: in 2014, I decided to begin a journey of a lifetime by studying abroad in the heart of Rome. Little did I know, it would be just the beginning…

Italy didn't just steal my heart; it took my soul on a rollercoaster of culture, mouthwatering cuisine, poetic language, and some of the warmest folks you'll ever meet. Seriously, it's like living in a movie. I not only fell head over heels for a special someone but also developed this unbreakable bond with the place itself.

Italy's transformative power hit me like a ton of gelato. So, I made a bold move: after graduating from university, I packed up my entire life and moved to Italy officially in the spring of 2015! It was all about quality over quantity, a perspective shift that turned my life into a masterpiece.

Living abroad is like a crazy rollercoaster ride, but guess what? I'm here to tell you to embrace the unknown! I'm all about advocating for taking risks, making those life-altering decisions, and soaking up every bit of experience this world has to offer. I'm also doing it all while raising a bunch of little adventurers of my own in the beautiful scenery of South Italy.

Over the years I’ve spent living in Italy, I’ve discovered new and wonderful things about the locals, hidden gems, food, and culture. When the COVID-19 pandemic stopped the entire world in its tracks (including tourism), I always kept a positive mindset knowing that one day, when all of this was behind us, people would want to travel again. And I wanted to be there when the doors reopened to showcase the beauty of Italy and beyond.

Thus, in July of 2020, Luxama Travel was born. It's not just a job; it's a passion. I'm all about curating those breathtaking vacations and dropping travel wisdom like confetti.
